Requirements
Requires HEYGEN_API_KEY, AVATAR_ID, and VOICE_ID in Settings. These are obtained from your HeyGen account.
How It Works
The Script is pre-loaded from the previous step. Choose your avatar and voice from the dropdowns — these reflect the IDs configured in Settings. Click Generate Video. HeyGen processes the request asynchronously; a status indicator shows when the video is ready. Once complete, the MP4 is saved to the job folder and appears in the Rough Cut step.
Tips
Keep scripts under 2,000 words for fastest generation. HeyGen generation typically takes 2 to 5 minutes depending on script length. If generation fails, check that your API key is valid and that your HeyGen account has sufficient credits.
